All of the antique furnishings and decor are hand selected by the owner,
Lauren Ross, with beauty and comfort being the primary focus.
Her southern roots shaped her love for creating cozy and layered spaces with antiques and accessories that are not only beautiful but also serve a purpose.
At The Pink Door, you will find special treasures to make your home the retreat you’ve always dreamed of.

The Pink Door is filled with well-loved antiques and vintage items with a mix of thoughtfully curated products like custom pillows, tabletop décor, garden items and signature candles.
The store will make you feel at home with “rooms” to shop for bedding, kitchen and bath products, garden items, stationary, and even a bit of jewelry. The décor is soft and feminine where cozy English layers mix with painted French antiques and humble farmhouse furnishings. There’s even some Texas cowgirl mixed in!
The antiques in the shop range from the tattered and chippy to more refined and elegant. You are sure to find something to add character and charm into your home whether it’s a faded floral vintage platter or a gorgeous carved European mirror. And there are plenty of gift items like soaps, lotions, tea towels and devotionals for that special friend or occasion.

Our surroundings really do make a difference in how we feel and function. Lauren’s goal is always to create peaceful and inviting interiors where friends and family want to gather. Decorating is not about accumulating more things for your home. Something as simple as a candle burning at your entry or flowers you’ve picked from your garden at the kitchen sink are ways of decorating and celebrating life. Surround yourself with things that bring you joy!

Lauren Ross
Lauren Ross Design began in 2003. Before her design business, she worked as a CPA for 15 years. Weekends were spent decorating her home as an outlet for creativity and serving the needs of her growing family. Friends and neighbors sought her out to decorate their homes as well. One thing led to another and Lauren quickly developed a client base. So at the encouragement of her family, she began her own design business to pursue her love of design and helping others with their homes.
In addition to her design work, she also collected beautiful finds for her antique booth in Houston and later in Austin. Her goal has always been to help others create cozy, welcoming spaces that are marked by tradition no matter the trends.
