Lauren is known for her effortless, relaxed, and feminine style where loose slipcovers are mixed with time-worn antiques. Understated elegance best describes her work - interiors collected over time and centered on faith and family.
She loves layering natural textures such as handspun linens and natural fiber rugs with vintage china, florals, and garden elements. Nothing is too precious; in fact, the more wrinkled and lived in, the better. To Lauren, a home should feel comfortable, welcoming, and personal.
She encourages her clients to use their “good” tea towels, sheets, candles, and china because every day is worth celebrating. Her philosophy is simple: surround yourself with things that bring you joy and live for the beauty found in day-to-day, ordinary moments.
To me, decorating is not about accumulating more things. Something as simple as a candle burning at your entry or flowers picked from your garden at the kitchen sink is a way of celebrating life.
